Our manufacturing client is a global leader. Reporting to the off-site Assistant Vice President of Human Resources for Canada you will be responsible for Human Resources in 2 facilities, one in the Waterloo Region and a smaller one in East Toronto for a total of about 120 employees. You will work out of the Waterloo Region facility with one monthly trip to the Toronto’s site. You consider yourself a full-blown HR generalist who can bring a strategic approach to your role. Your key responsibilities will be to partner with key managers for all HR related matters in a proactive way; provide a framework, support and coaching to managers in workforce planning, performance management, talent management, salary policy application, recruitment and employee relations; act as an ambassador for change management and assist managers in the development of a culture of continuous improvement; interpret KPI’s and know how to improve Human Resource processes. You possess more than 7 years of experience as a HRBP or HR Manager, including 3 to 5 years in a manufacturing environment (a must). You demonstrate leadership, autonomy and initiative, have a strong customer service orientation, solid coaching skills and show rigor and accountability. You are a dynamic team player with outstanding communication skills and able to establish relationships at all levels. You are a university graduate, CHRP designate.
